DiGirolamo to Hold Vote on Repeal of Human Services Block Grant, Convene Meeting on Medicaid Expansion

WHAT:          Rep. Gene DiGirolamo (R-Bucks), chairman of the House Human Services Committee, will lead the House Human Services Committee in consideration of legislation to repeal the human services block grant pilot program, which began during the 2013-14 fiscal year. After the voting meeting, the committee will convene an informational meeting to learn more about the RAND report, which was issued in March and focuses on the economic impact of a Medicaid expansion in Pennsylvania.

WHO:             DiGirolamo and Rep. Angel Cruz (D-Philadelphia) and members of the committee.

WHEN:          Tuesday, June 4. The voting meeting will convene at 9 a.m. with the informational meeting to follow at 9:30 a.m.
